Cindi Stowell

Thank-you for considering me as your music teacher. I believe every student has unique abilities, and it is my desire to bring forth those talents. I have been teaching a very active music studio since 1989. I love teaching music and I am excited when a student has been inspired to play.

I have performed and studied music throughout my life, starting with piano lessons at a young age. Later, I began playing the guitar and eventually performed in several bands. I am currently continuing my music education in jazz studies. I have composed, produced and recorded two contemporary Christian CD’s, which opened the door for me to tour the country performing and sharing the good news of the Gospel.

Leading and directing choirs and orchestrating band arrangements for various churches is one of my greatest joys. My desire as a music director is to concentrate on the personal needs of each musician. I also focus on the personal needs, goals, and talents of each of my students.

I believe it is important to teach students how to read and count music, which is the core of all music study. I also teach a variety of instruments and styles so students gain a balanced music education. The end result is a happy and enthusiastic student that enjoys music lessons
