Music Explorers

Music Explorers introduces students to a myriad of instruments and teaches them how to become successful musicians by working with other students. The hands-on workshop incorporates ensemble playing and band performance, which challenge students to play improvised blues and contemporary rock styles of music.

Students see firsthand how knowledge of chords and scales is the underlying language of all instruments. Students are given the opportunity to explore and play several different instruments including drums, piano, bass guitar, guitar, and handbells.
