What do you like best about music lessons?
Miss Cindi was the first serious music teacher I had, and I've always cherished the time I had with her. One of the things that she impressed upon me was a commitment to excellence and mastery of a piece of music. Through repetition and attention to detail, she taught me that each measure, each song, was worth performing well. Gently but firmly, she always pushed me to create the best music I could. Miss Cindi's personal discipline and talent also inspired me, and this commitment from a teacher has become increasingly important to me as I've continued my music studies. --Jessica M.

What do you like best about Music Explorers?
Cindi's Music Explorers gives students the unique opportunity to interact with their peers within the context of music. Implementing a band/jam session form of practice gives the student early exposure to band techniques, such as listening to other instruments, attention to single parts, and group performance. This experience fosters confidence in the students individually, and constant practice develops confidence and enjoyment as a group collectively. While preparing songs and learning to improvise, students are unconsciously learning skills which will prove invaluable to them for the rest of their musical career. I look back on my band experience in Music Explorers as one of the highlights of my life, and I think it is unfortunate that so few music teachers give young people the chance to experiment with their instruments in a group setting. Music Explorers is the equivalent of contemporary chamber music for Miss Cindi's students. --Jessica M.

What do you like best about Miss Cindi's style of teaching?
I appreciate that Miss Cindi incorporates both classical and modern music into her students' curriculum. As a guitarist, I discovered that my classical training was not only unusual but also immensely valuable, both in contemporary music and in studying other classical instruments. I appreciate the balance that this style of teaching achieves. --Jessica M.

I have known Cindi for approximately 9 years now. She was our churches’ worship leader for many years and we absolutely love her music! She personally has taught all four of my children different instruments over those 9 years. One son she taught beginning drum lessons. Another son she taught bass guitar. My daughter she taught piano lessons. She coached my oldest son’s teen group’s worship band as well as led him, along with many others, in a musical “talent show.” She is extremely professional yet very gentle and patient with the younger children. She is able to get on their level and keep it fun as they learn how to play and read music. We were completely distraught when she moved to Texas. We lost a fabulous music teacher, but Texas benefits greatly! We highly recommend Cindi Stowell. Sincerely,

My children and I met Miss Cindi through church and just adored her worship.
When I found out she did music lessons I was excited and signed my boys up, one for piano and the other for guitar lessons and a little on the drums. Both of them excelled while under the teaching of Miss Cindi. They performed in a recital and on the youth worship team for a season. As for me, I took piano lessons from Miss Cindi and wish she was here in Las Vegas to continue the piano lessons. I will also add that the computer lab was beneficial to all three of us. Cindi is very professional and she cares about her students, she keeps it fun yet demanding of the capibilities of the students. I would recommend Miss Cindi to anyone who is serious about learning to play an instrument or take voice lessons. Laurie
